Very frequently, economics claims its advantage over other social sciences, and, sometimes, humanities, because of its usage of mathematical modelling. Yet, especially in the aftermath of the start of the financial crisis, many have become sceptical toward such view. But, on the other hand, some have also appropriately pointed toward problems of putting all the issues brought by the financial crisis to the "mathematics". Is it, therefore, possible to integrate the two views? Below contribution presents some personal reflection over this issue.
